I’m going to do a monthly update of my progress, more than anything to make sure I actively try to achieve them!
1. Lose weight (so original)
I started the month out well, going for 5-6km walks 2-3 times a week but in the last week i haven’t been at all. I didn’t lose any weight, which was bit disappointing as i tried to eat healthier as well, but did feel that i lost tummy flab and my legs were toner. I don’t know if this is possible as i didn’t actually lose weight? Maybe my mind is playing tricks so i feel better =P
Goal for next month - walk 6kms within 50-55minutes 3 times a week, plus 1 day of the 30 day shred video, keep trying to eat healthier.
2. More self confidence and assertiveness
I’m unsure if i’ve made any progress on this at all! i’m trying not to let ‘bitch lady’ at work effect me as much which i think is working, but i think i’m going from freaking out about work to not caring at all. I need to find the happy/healthy medium. On the plus side, we have a new member in the team who speaks her mind and will tell bitch lady when she is being too much. Doing better on the assertive front especially with my friends and family, but its still not a passing grade.
Goal for next month - Make sure i finish work on a happy note (most of the time it has been a good place) and speak my mind more often even if i wrong (at least i tried!)
3. Less procrastination
The opposite of Res#1 - i started slow but have finished the month well. Hopefully the momentum will flow into next month and March (when uni starts).
Goal for next month - find my financial planning assignment and try to implement or at the least research some of my goals.
